I'm a little bit daunted by the prospect of this blank canvass but I've got all winter to come up with a plan. I'm also open to any advice or ideas any of you might have but please don't be offended if I don't include them!
The plot is approximately 14m square with a narrow 3m strip running up the back of the house. The side of the house you can, see faces southwest and the garden is sheltered from the north by mature deciduous trees. I haven't done a soil test yet so I'm not sure what the acidity is, nor do I know what depth of soil they have given me - the minimum 6 inches probably. However, these are all jobs for when the house is in a presentable state, which is a long way off yet, so I'll come back to this later.
